Job Description – Associate Insights Director I
Overview
The primary role of the Associate Insights Director I is to support and provide disease area expertise to the end-to-end insights generation process using our proprietary market research data across a therapeutic area. The position reports to the Franchise Head/Director and is based in Exton, PA.
Key Responsibilities
To add incremental value to the Spherix report production and insights generation process:
- Initiate the first draft of surveys, incorporating relevant metrics and research objectives
- Develop report framework for data visualizations, typically in PowerPoint format
- Review and test survey links, track changes, and verify survey logic for accuracy
- Stay informed on the latest developments in the disease landscape
- Draft, edit, and finalize various types of reports
- Proofread and provide feedback on final reports
To assist with client management and presentations:
- Support client readouts, track follow-up requests and lead ad-hoc deliverables, follow-up observational metric requests
- Begin sending deliverables and interacting with clients
Key Deliverables:
- Production Management: Oversee the development and delivery of research outputs.
- First-Pass Survey Development: Draft initial survey instruments aligned with objectives.
- Secondary Research: Conduct secondary research to inform project design and deepen knowledge.
- Qualitative Research (Qual): Execute qualitative methodologies to uncover deeper insights.
- Survey Link Checking: Validate survey logic and track updates to ensure accuracy.
- Change Tracking: Maintain detailed logs of document changes for transparency.
- Open-End Coding: Analyze and categorize qualitative responses to identify themes.
- Report Framework: Develop visual frameworks in PowerPoint.
- Report Content: Author clear, data-driven, and actionable reports.
- Client Meeting Notes: Summarize client feedback, expectations, and key takeaways.
- Therapeutic Area Expertise: Build and apply specialized knowledge in the assigned therapeutic area.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Required working knowledge and experience using Microsoft PowerPoint
- Comfort using Microsoft Excel and SPSS
- Experience in the pharmaceutical research preferred but not required
- Extremely strong attention to detail
- Proven track record of writing skills, highlighting the capacity to explain complex therapeutic and commercial points
- Consistent track record of delivering against objectives
- Proficient writing skills
